  Good for bird watching and long relaxing walks. The area is not as breathtaking as some around Townsville but it is very enjoyable for simple walking and in the right season is full of birds to see.

  A beautiful part of Australia. It makes me appreciate being an Aussie having such incredible places like this. Even though it's very dry around Townsville and the birds were not here in great numbers i still saw things ive only imagined. A snake in the water hole swiming around, the wide open flat land. I think i understand why the Aboriginal people have such a close relationship with this land. I wouldn't trade this beautiful country that i call my home for anything.

  The area is nice, roads are terrible. If you go slow its rough if you go the limit its rough. Check your Shocks and your tyres before you go.

  I'm from the bush .its so peaceful to get away from all the city noise and people .just the wild walking around in the bush no tall building we lucky at least here u can get away from the city bright lights.
